We already know calcium is important for our teeth and overall health. But because several studies remain inconclusive, the use of calcium supplements may not be a choice if your diet is inadequate. Calcium supplements may increase the risk of heart disease, gastrointestinal issues and kidney stones. Hence, you should avoid that use of calcium supplements.
