Dr. Bilus D. Poles, DDS, MAGD

Dr. Bilus D. Poles is the founder and lead dentist at Omni Dental of Arlington Heights. With more than 22 years of clinical experience across general dentistry, dental implants, and cosmetic care, Dr. Poles has helped thousands of patients in the Arlington Heights area reclaim healthy, confident smiles.

What sets Dr. Poles apart is the depth of his commitment to learning. He holds the title of Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD), the organization’s highest honor, earned by fewer than 2% of dentists in the United States and Canada. Achieving it required completing over 1,100 hours of continuing education, including 400 hours of hands-on clinical training, and passing a board-level examination. He has since been recognized with the AGD’s Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition (LLSR) award, representing more than 1,600 total hours of dental study across every discipline of dentistry.

Dr. Poles is also a Board Certified Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and the International Dental Implant Association (IDIA), and has completed advanced implant training at the ILAPEO Institute in Curitiba, Brazil, one of the world’s leading implant surgery centers, in both 2022 and 2025.

He earned his first dental degree from the University of Baghdad College of Dentistry in 1996 and his second from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Dentistry in 2007. He holds an active Illinois dental license (#019.027365) and is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and several other national and international organizations.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Poles volunteers at community dental events, lectures on oral health at local schools, and mentors dental students at his practice. He speaks English, Spanish, Assyrian, and Arabic, serving a wide range of patients across the Chicago suburbs.
